Duties of Current Occupation

In spare time have helped with daily horse care, grooming, feeding, mucking out, tacking up, and exercising horses. Confident around horses but eager to learn and shadow/support experienced hands and work as a team as well as independently.

Equine Work Experience

I ride western at an intermediate level and currently exercise and school a 12-year-old Quarter Horse mare to improve her western training while developing my own skills through lessons. I’m confident handling horses in the stable and out in the field, including catching, leading, grooming, feeding, mucking out, and saddling/tacking but eager to learn and improve my skills. I have ridden Quarter Horses in western tack (mares and geldings). I enjoy learning and improving my horsemanship, whether in groundwork or riding. I’m reliable and a quick learner. Alongside this, I bring strong people skills, a dependable work ethic, and a willingness to take on varied tasks. I’m happy to get stuck in with stable, yard, and general farm duties, and I adapt quickly to new routines or challenges.

Comfortable in western riding (in spare time). Have ridden Quarterhorses (mares and geldings). Confident grooming, leading, saddling, and general stable management. Comfortable exercising horses and assisting training in western tack. Strong people skills, dependable, and quick to learn. Continuing riding lessons too.
