I have all of my GCSE’s at levels of 5/6/7. I also have a merit in animal management foundation diploma.

Duties of Current Occupation
My previous role as a competition groom led me to gaining various skills from completing yard duties at a consistent high standard to handling stallions and foals. I was often caring for 10+ horses a day.
Equine Work Experience
I have previous experience working with fit completion horses. This involved turning them out, mucking out, trotting up, lunging, plaiting, mane pulling and competition preparation. I have worked with foals, mares, geldings and stallions.
Along with this, I have also prepared and attended several shows and competitions.
Specialities
I have previous experience handling foals and stallions.
I have worked within a small team catering for over 20+ horses within the yard. This also involves communicating with the owners/ vets/ physio/ dentists and farriers.
All of our horses were turned out each day. Depending on the wether and individual circumstances of the horse, we aimed to have them turned out as much as possible.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden previously. However, I have not ridden for a few years. I am a fast learning and I’m very passionate about continuing this.
Competition Details
My previous yard was a dressage competition yard. I have experience in plaiting, tacking up, and other competition preparation.
