I am currently working within a small animal veterinarian specialist while I look for my calling within the equine industry.

Handling:

• leading youngstock, mares etc, into and off box.
• handling nervous horses.
• grooming, bathing.
• clipping.
• handling unruly horses
• handling foals, colts, stallions, broodmares etc.

cleaning/other:

• mucking out. (shavings, straw, wood pellets).
• using a jet wash.
• arranging hay.
• making feed buckets.
• cleaning bridles and saddles.
• able to lightly operate a tracker.
• operate horse Walker
• lunging of all types.

I have worked on two great equine establishments. New barn stables livery yard - At this yard I was a groom and carried out normal daily tasks with efficiency and to a high standard. Turning horses out and mucking horses in a short amount of time.

Littleton stud farm - At this employment role I improved my handling skills by with all sorts of horses, young-stock, foals and stallions. During my time with Littleton I learned a large number of important equine handling skills as well as improving initiative.
