Alongside my practical experience, I am currently studying towards a Level 2 Equine Nursing Care Assistant qualification with the Open College of Equine Studies, which is deepening my knowledge of equine health, behaviour, and welfare.

Having recently gained hands-on experience as a Part-Time Groom at West Dean Livery Yard, I have built a solid foundation in daily yard duties such as grooming, feeding, mucking out, and handling horses safely and confidently.

Safely handled a range of horses for turnout and bringing in • Groomed, fed, and cared for horses to a high standard • Carried out daily stable duties including mucking out, filling hay nets, and preparing feeds • Monitored horses’ condition and behaviour, reporting any changes to management • Worked efficiently as part of a small, busy team, especially during peak yard hours • Maintained calmness and professionalism in all situations
