- I currently live in South Africa but am relocating back to the UK in December 2020. I previously worked in the UK from 2000 until 2006 and have a British Passport. I am hoping to pursue a career change and am looking for any opportunity with horses.
Qualifications
I currently have no qualifications as they pertain to equine studies. I have a Grade 12 which I obtained in South Africa, plus one year at a Technical College. Equivalent to about a A level equivalent.
Duties of Current Occupation
I have not worked before with horses, however I am a capable rider and have a passion for horses and for learning more about them. My desire is for a career change. Majority of my previous work involved office administration, sales, recruitment
Equine Work Experience
I have experience tacking up horses and untacking them after riding. I am a confident rider and would be willing to look at obtaining further qualifications should the opportunity exist.
Specialities
I do not have any specialities as it pertains to working with horses however I am hard-working, physically fit, and eager to learn. I enjoy working as part of a team and would love to be taught more about horses and be mentored by a senior Groom or Yard Manager together with other members of the team. I have no problem in lifting, carrying of goods, mucking out stables, sweeping of the yard etc.
Type of Ride Work
I only have exposure to regular out rides or trail riding as it may be called.
