I schooled up young horses took them thru the grades etc. I have worked with various horses.
I have worked with young green horses, training flat work, jumping and did hunting over the years as well as some dressage and eventing - but my main disciple was showjumping. I am currently a work rider and work with all the problem horses and I am also involved with the early education of the youngsters coming in.
My mother used arrange shows at our yard and I used to assist her - however not directly. I have been a competitive rider since the age of 8 - Showjumping was my main interest however I competed in eventing, dressage and showing as well - I competed most weekends. As a junior rider I was selected into our Western Province Team to compete at nationals in showjumping with both my showjumpers. We always took our own horses to shows etc and all our turn out work was done at home.
