I have been a student at Askham Bryan college for 2 years achieving an extended technical diploma - grades pending. I worked on a racing stud for a year for work experience, handling young stocks, mares and assisting the vet. I then worked at a livery yard for my second year work experience. I worked as a stable hand - mucking out, exercising horses, turn out, grooming, etc.

I worked at a racing stud for a year for my college work experience. I completed 315 hours of work where I worked with foals, broodmares, racing thoroughbreds and a tees stallion. This work taught me to work in a team, be adaptable and work to a quick, high standard.

I have rode since the age of 3 and successfully passed my progress riding exam during college. During the two years of college I have been coached by a BHS AI coach. I have done flat work, poles and hacking. I would class my self as an experienced rider.
