Teaching, hacking, grooming, mucking out, general yard duties

I have not worked at a competitive yard although I would love to. I have worked at a livery yard where I worked quickly and efficiently mucking out stables, turning out, poo picking fields and tacking up and riding. I have volunteered at a riding school where I tacked up and groomed horses ready for clients. I worked for a short period at a hunt yard exercising horses. I am currently working at a riding school where I do all of the above and deal with customers in the office, teach, take out rides and help volunteers when needed.I have also achieved my level 3 extended diploma in horse management.

I have worked at a livery yard mucking out and general yard duties to a high standard as well as riding the horses to keep them fit. I currently work at a riding school where I help teach and take rides out so I have amazing people skills and am professional. I also am a team leader when asking the volunteers to help and explaining what to do.

I have ridden a variety horses from green horses to hunt horses. I have helped in the process in backing and starting a horse. And have done work experience at a stud yard as well as handing a foal at my current job.

Also I have not been a groom on a professional yard I have prepared horses for shows and compeated on clients horses.
