Grew up on the northwest coast of Ireland, and have been working with horses my entire life until University. That mostly comprised of teaching people to ride, from beginner to advanced, along with centred riding, and taking people out on beach, island and mountain rides from 1-8 hours in groups of up to 10 people. Additionally re-trained ex racehorses and schooled livery horses. During university I used to do some freelance training, and subsequently moved to Australia, initially working on an active racing yard before moving into stud farm work which I continued around the world until Covid hit! When I retrained as a teacher, I used to ride for a lady who had too many horses and needed them exercised. This was mostly just hacking out. After a few years in London, I restarted riding again in February 2025, on a mix of young stock, eventers, show jumpers and dressage horses between Ireland and Switzerland. My schooling skills are rusty, but redeveloping with time.
