In my old job worked as a yard groom on a busy livery and riding school.
Equine Work Experience
In September 2020, i worked as a yard groom for around two months. Working on three busy livery yards and a riding school allowed me to work under pressure. Due to covid i had to move myself and my horse back home, meaning i had to part ways with the job and go back home to work on my families self ran livery yard.
My family has owned the yard i grew up on since i was a kid. Meaning i grew up in the livery yard atmosphere and allowed me to adapt to personalities and work loads.
Specialities
Since 2011 I have been riding which I still continue to this day. Day to day I independently look after two
horses and have done since 2017, my hobby has allowed me to have many different opportunities like
representing GB several different times in countries all around Europe. Since 2016, I have qualified
each year to be in a national squad of a Equine sport called Horse-ball, all the way from being the
youngest in my U16 age group to being the oldest.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden all sorts of horses, from rehabbing both of my horses back to work early 2020. I have ridden horses that have bucked/reared/leaped/napped.
Due to ridding alot of different horses in my past i am not a scared rider and consider myself a brave rider.
Competition Details
When i was younger i competed in shows around my area, but mainly my competitions have been horse-ball related competing abroad and in the English league for the last 7 years.
