Grooming horses Bringing horses in and turning them out Tacking up horses Cleaning bridles and saddles (tack cleaning) Mucking out stables Sweeping the yard Helping Riders (ages 5- adult) I help out at most of the holiday events involving younger children, assisting with the riding portion of the event as well as any craft activities or yard activities. I am an active member of the Pony club and also take part in as many events as I can, from dressage to jumping. I have also loaned a horse for approximately a year now at the yard, which has given me greater experience and knowledge.
