Bio
I am a University Student in Hertfordshire with 20 years of horse experience. I have ridden a variety of horses, from ponies to show horses and different breeds. I have experience in handling stallions, broodmares, and young horses.
Qualifications

N/A

Duties of Current Occupation

I have cleaned stalls/stables. Brushed and cleaned the horses. refilled water buckets and filled grain buckets. I have tacked horses and ridden them for exercise. I have applied medicine to horses when injured. I have put hay in the paddocks.

Equine Work Experience

My equine experience is more than just leading ponies. I have handled spooked horses, moody mares, shy geldings, and lesson horses that are not fit to be lesson horses. I have been thrown from a lesson horse and got back on. I have handled geldings that acted like stallions. I have been kicked, bitten and shoved into stalls. I have applied medicine to horses that have hurt themselves playing, muscle strain, or they get spooked, and they get hurt from something. After giving them medicine, I give them a treat and let them rest since they are probably stressed. I have shown when I could, and it is a great teaching moment to learn from horse shows and being around other people who show horses, to gain experience by handling my horse around other horses and riders, and to ride to the best of my ability. The stallion handling was always handled with respect and patience, since stallions need patience and respect from the person handling them.

Specialities

I have experience working with stallions and caring for them. As well as young foals and young horses and the outcome was a good outcome. The stallion I was caring for, whose name was Leggs, but his full name was RS Legacy, and he was very gentle and playful. He loved to play with his feed and water buckets. The young foal I had help training with was Jasper; he was friendly and mischievous. Since he was young, he needed some training. I have led a team, and it was a riding team.

Type of Ride Work

For Flatwork, jumping, or any other type of riding. The breed of horse would vary. I have ridden Quarter Horses, Appaloosas, a Warmblood for both jumping and dressage, and a Thoroughbred for dressage and trail rides. I have ridden an Arabian/mix for Flatwork and low jumping. I have trained a Mustang/Quarter Horse in Flatwork, and I have ridden a Frisian for Flatwork.

Competition Details

In the United States, I competed in dressage tests for the ADS for 10 years in my home state of Arkansas, earning a variety of ribbons and medals. I have worked in a competition barn but as a groom
