Qualifications
I have done some of the pony club qualifications (bronze one I believe) but no professional qualifications. As I taught horse riding in America, it did not require me to have a qualification, just to have experience.
However, outside of the equine industry, I have a coaching certificate in swimming - Scottish Swimming UKCC level 1 certificate for Teaching Aquatics, which may be proof of my leadership skills.

Equine Work Experience
I worked in a USA summer camp in 2018 for approx 4 months where I was a riding instructor for multiple groups of children. I mainly taught the advanced group and came up with lessons from flatwork drills to gymkhana games. This also required fast tacking and untacking between lessons and ensuring each horse was fed on time etc. Although that is my only paid work with horses, I grew up doing lessons and pony club where I learned a lot of skills such as equine first aid. I also had part shares of horses over the years where I was responsible for all mucking out and poo picking of fields etc.
Specialities
I have volunteered with riding for the disabled associating where I was in charge of leading a horse and supporting the rider. I also have lots of experience outside of the equine industry in working with children and adults with additional needs so I am a good communicator and like to ensure inclusivity of all. I am first aid qualified and CPR trained due to years of lifeguarding I have a driving license I am also PVG checked
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a range of horses over the years but have never personally backed a green horse, for example. I enjoyed all pony club activities such as show jumping and cross country. As I never owned my own horse, I was never able to compete unfortunately so do not have any mentionable achievements. I went along to a polo taster session at university and really liked the polo horses I got to ride! Overall I am a decent rider and always willing to improve.
Competition Details
I have never competed myself and although I have assisted at competitions a few times, I haven't done it enough to consider myself a groom! Again, I am a keen learner and very eager to learn the necessary skills.
