Horse and childcare

I have been around horses for 20 years, riding and handling many different types throughout, I have worked at a professional riding school for around 6 years, teaching lessons, running the yard, clipping, mane pulling and everything in between. I can turn out to a high standard with previous experience from competing myself and have trained with GP riders, working at advanced medium level. I’ve backed my own horses and rehabilitated 2 from serious fractures so am aware of every aspect that our 4 legged friends can throw at us.

I have worked in a riding school along side a team and able to use great leadership skills, keeping the yard tidy and to a high standard. I have experienced with fit competition horses as well as horses in rehabilitation or green/unbroken horses. Also 8 years experience with children from birth to 11 years, with childcare qualifications.

I’ve ridden problem horses, nervous horses, green and young horses, I’ve also ridden advanced horses and have enjoyed each and every kind. I do prefer to train and be involved with dressage but do enjoy jumping and hacking out, I’m also able to lunge, long line etc.

I’ve competed myself, groomed for friends and organised small events based at our own private diy livery yard.
