Ensuring all horses are cared for to a high standard, maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the yard, overseeing other staff members, organising farriers, vets ect and liaising with clients.

I have previously worked at a polo livery yard called Just Horsen About as the barn manager and as the well known Ellerston Onassis polo Ltd for Matt Grimes. I worked in these positions for roughly around a year before having to return home to the uk due to my visa expiring.

Opportunities at home, on the Isle of Wight are very few and far between. I purchased a 3 year old mare to back and produce alongside starting my own business in the beauty industry. I now have a very successful business but unfortunately it is not what I want to do long term nor is it my true passion.

I do have experience during a 3.5T horsebox and have my own. But unfortunately no HGV.

I have previously working with youngsters, fit competition horses including stallions, broodmares, foals and retired horses.

I previously worked managing a yard of 36+ Polo horses, with young stock at home and manage a team of 2 other staff members.

I work well as part of a team or equally on my own initiative. I take great pride in turning my horses out to a high standard and keeping the yard well maintained and presentable.

I have ridden young/green horses, not afraid of quirky horses. I have experience in the following… Hacking Lunging Flatwork (up to novice) Showjumping (upto 90cm/1m) Eventing (low level) Riding Sets (happy to ride & lead) Showing (low level)
