Level 2 horse care and riding

Level 3 equine groom

Care and work daily duty’s with riding school horses as well as teach, ride through out the job, also maintaining a healthy, smooth working yard with happy ponies. Also maintains the yard and keeping everything up together as a whole.

I’ve worked in riding schools for 3 years whilst studying in my level 2 and 3 equine groom qualifications (recently completed my level 3 in a apprenticeship at kitbridge hollow riding academy, Newport Isle of Wight) I’ve been fortunate to have my own horse/pony since I was young. I have good knowledge still vast areas to learn. I’m a quick learner and very passionate about working with horses.

I’m very hardworking and no matter what it takes I will get the job done, I turn out to a high standard and am a quick learner. I crack on with any yard duties and will keep it up together and clean. I’m eager and willing to learn any new skill or brush up on anything required.

I’ve done minimal riding until a few years ago and been working with a loan horse and been working with him and have recently started competing in some events still working and improving. I’ve done a few hunts and been mainly doing showjumping and started some cross country. Done lots of hacking and gallops. Even though have done much riding I’ve very keen and willing to ride in any areas and build my knowledge.

Have done a few local shows but goal is get out and compete more and also be a groom in the competition area. I’ve recently done a few mainland events but only unaffiliated but try to continue my training to get up in the levels
