Duties of Current Occupation

My main duties in my current role is working in a busy, fast paced customer service environment, taking ownership of the customer’s journey, going above and beyond for each customer, and overcoming and finding solutions to their queries.

Equine Work Experience

I have grown up around horses since I was 3 years old. I mainly loaned ponies and horses throughout my childhood and had a break during studying for a couple of years. I now have my very own horse that I brought in August 2020, he is my first. He is a 9 year old 17h Scottish Warmblood. I will be looking to bring him with me if a live in groom position becomes a reality for me.

I have only clipped once before, I have never plaited as due to Covid I haven’t managed to start competing yet, or dealt with stallions, I have managed a few youngsters before on ground but not ridden them. I am a quick and keen learner so I will be able to pick up on this.

Type of Ride Work

I have mainly schooling experience, however I do jump now and then when I can with my boy, however he is a little green in canter so I am working on that at the moment.

I have jumped up to 1 metre at present, I have also had a Polo lesson before. I previously loaned a fairly quirky horse for just over a year before I got my own, and had lots of schooling and jumping lessons on him, as well as hacking out, going across the gallops etc.

Competition Details

I have only competed when I was younger doing pony clubs, clear rounds and gymkhana games. I had a long break from riding due to studying after this.
