Duties of Current Occupation
I'm currently working as a freelance groom covering North Kent. The last 10 years I have run a successful clipping business. I’ve clipped for HOYS, RI, Olympia, Liverpool International. Im extremely passionate about high level clipping and turn out.
Equine Work Experience
I attended hadlow college for 2 years fom the age of 16 to 18. Since leaving college I've worked in many disciplines to gain as much experience as possible. I've worked for Jenny pigeon point to point trainer where I hunted the pointers and rode on the gallops. I then went on to work for a group 3 dressage rider where I worked up from general yard groom to head girl and competition groom. After 5 years I went to work for Oliver smith event rider. In this position I travelled to 1 and 3 day events including chatsworth and Bramham. After spending a season here I moved to a hunt yard (kimblewick hunt) I spent a season here where i rode the hunters out hunting as well as the fitness work also all aspects of yard work and care of the horses before and after hunting. I then returned to dressage where I was involed in the breaking in of 2 youngsters of which I then competed in young horse classes and upto novice level affiliated competition. I am currently freelance since sept 2012.

Type of Ride Work
I have ridden youngsters and green horses. have competed youngsters at young horse classes and upto novice level aff dressage . Also backed both dressage youngsters i competed.I have watched clinics with many top riders and trainers. I have also ridden the event horses on the gallops and the fittening hacking work. I have hacked and done all aspects of fittening work with the hunters and hunted both pointers and hunt horses.
Competition Details
competed in affilated dressage including the area festivals and the young horse classes. Been a competition groom at higher level upto inter 2 dressage and 3* eventing. Bramham, chatsworth etc. I have travelled with the pointers to point to points around the country. I have for the last few years clipped at the highest level. I made the finals of groom of the year 2022 I’m also an ambassador for Liveryman. I’ve been lucky to also feature in magazines in how to columns.
