Bio
Hi im 24 years old and have been around horses and dogs all my life, i have previously attended collage and worked in Ireland with young horses. Im very outdoorsy and not shy of hard work. I am currently gardening/farming.Qualifications
I have a PASS level 3 horse management course from college.
Duties of Current Occupation
Mucking out, feed, turn out, turn in, yard jobs, gardening, tractor driving, house sitting.
Equine Work Experience
Studied an Equine course at college for 2 years around 7 years ago. I then went on to look after a ladies horses for 3 years, they wasn't ridden so just yard duties, mucking out and turn out/in. I worked in Ireland on a dealers yard where i looked after a range of different ponies and horses.
Specialities
I have lightly worked with foals.
Type of Ride Work
I have only ridden college/school horses really but have ridden on occasion friends horses. However as i had a career change to the farm after the lady i was working for couldn't keep me anymore for finacial reasons, i have not ridden continuously over the past 2 years. I have recently started up riding lessons to gain confidence back and strength. I am confident on the flat, not so confident jumping but i think that is because i haven't done much of it. I love hacking out!
