Duties of Current Occupation
-working on a livery/lesson yard (rye street farm equestrian centre) for around about 4 years as a yard hand.
- working as assistant yard manager at a private yard in sevenoaks -work experience at aster horses (dressage) -equine level 2 deplomia
Equine Work Experience
-pony club exams -family owning horses -can plait however needs development before ready for the ring. -knows how to politicise and spit problemes eg lameness, loose shoes, skin condition ect.
Specialities
-worked around stallions helping tack up, bath and Handel them when at work experience ect. -handerling of young stock at work experience and at rye street farm equestrian centre (old work place).
- at my current workplace we had four wild moor pony’s brought in to be retrained and I was assigned a youngster to help halter and lead train before being turned away to grow and mature. This consisted of lead training and training to be caught when in the field.
Type of Ride Work
-ridden at around premium level dressage confidently on various horses. -worked on a livery/lesson yard with around 45/50 horses on it at a previous work place and could get a reframe of employee if wanted. At this placement we would commonly school lesson horses and livery’s to keep them fit and healthy throughout the week.
Competition Details
-work experience at aster horses wich is a competition dressage yard based near Maidstone, I did around 80 hours of work experience at aster learning how to handle compertion horses varying between young horses and high level dressage horses.
