Duties of Current Occupation
Turnout/bring in, muck out, poo pick, exercise, fence maintenance, paddock maintenance, dragging the sand school, topping the paddocks, weed control are the main duties in my occupation.
Equine Work Experience
I have had horses for 14 years, and have recently finished my 3 year apprenticeship, where I did various different equine assessments, including, ground work, ridden work, bandaging, tacking up for specialist work, equine first aid, and many more.
Specialities
I have experience in handling young stock, and also enjoy working with them. I work well alone and have taken sole charge when my employer has been away, I also work well in a team and have good coordination skills.
Type of Ride Work
I have done most ridden work, from hacking to jumping, I am a confident rider and am happy riding most horses, when riding I like to spread the ridden work out, and change the scenery for the horse and do various different things for example pole work, hacking, flat work, jumping.
