I started riding lessons when I was 6 years old. Got into a local horse camp and was taught all the basics of horses and how to ride, eventually i was able to go work at the local stables every Saturday and ride more often. I was feeding, grooming, helping with trail rides and doing local competitions. I have been surrounded and have handled many, breeds and temperaments of horses. I was able to go to a private stable and work training a Thoroughbred with my trainer. I have not only worked along side trainers but also Vets, and I was lucky enough to see a few equine cases during my student training. Currently I am at a trail riding business, working with an ex racehorse and an ex harness racing pony. I am always eager to learn and gain more experience when it comes to working with horses.

I am a quick learner who does good under pressure.I am always aware of my surroundings, especially when working around animals. I have a good bit of knowledge when it comes to working and riding horses, but there is always room for improvement and more knowledge. I can be a bit OCD, everything has to be tidy and clean. I do believe I am a good team worker, always want to make sure everyone is safe and whenever someone is in need of help I would always be there to lend a hand.

I typically prefer showjumping, but I have no problems with learning new skills and disciplines although cross-country and horse racing has been a goal of mine to try. Currently I do a lot of flatwork, due to the barn not having jumps, but whenever I do get the opportunity to jump and refresh my skills, it is taken.
