I am confident with all daily yard tasks including mucking out, turning horses in and out, putting horses on and off the walker, pulling manes, cleaning tack, bathing and turning horses out to a high standard.

When I was younger I was an active member of the Lancaster Pony Club, where I developed strong foundational skills in riding and horse care. I later progressed to competing in BSJA with my ponies. I gained professional experience working on a show jumping yard, carrying out all daily yard duties to a high standard. My responsibilities included schooling horses at home and grooming at competitions. Following this, I worked at a racing yard, where I undertook all routine duties, exercised and hacked out horses, and accompanied them to race meetings.

I have gained extensive hands‑on experience working in both a show jumping yard and a racing yard, where I have developed a deep understanding of the care, management, and handling of fit competition horses. I am confident in carrying out all daily yard duties including, mucking out, turning horses in and out, putting horses on and off the walker, clipping, helping with the farrier, washing iff and bathing.

I am confident working independently, as well as working effectively within a team.
