I do not currently hold any formal equine college qualifications but would be keen to work towards relevant equine qualifications and further develop my knowledge and skills. I also hold a Safeguarding in Equestrian qualification.

Assisted with daily horse care and stable duties, supported riding instructors with lessons, helped riders and coordinated volunteers by allocating tasks and organising daily yard activities.

I have preciously been a groom at a riding school, and also currently loan a loan horse. This has developed my hands-on experience in horse management, grooming, feeding, fitness and general wellbeing. I have previously attended equestrian competitions, gaining experience in competition preparation, horse handling and management. Also assisted with organising and running competitions, writhing the riding school including coordinating volunteers, supporting participants and helping ensure events ran smoothly. Confident working independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational, communication and practical horsemanship skills.

I have previously lead volunteers at a riding school. Responsible for organising daily tasks, delegating duties and supporting volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the yard. Strong teamwork, communication and leadership skills.

Experience riding a variety of riding school ponies as well as my own loan horse. Confident in general flatwork, schooling and developing horses’ way of going, with experience adapting to different horses and their individual abilities.

I have not previously worked within a completion yard, however I have prepared my own loan and other friends horses for competitions.
