Duties of Current Occupation
Grooming, mucking out, feeding, exercising horses, hay nets, plaiting, bringing in/turning out, tacking up, tack cleaning, sweeping, daily health checks on field horses, worming, isolation (strangles, ringworm etc), handling young stock etc
Equine Work Experience
600+ hours of work experience as a groom/ yard hand on the university yard with 25+ horses and a local livery yard 6+ years of riding experience, confident in all aspects of riding Level 3 diploma in Equine Management Nearly 2 years working full time for the Ministry of Defence with horses belonging to The Household Cavalry and The Royal Horse Artillery regiments Very competent tractor & trailer and telehandler driver as current position requires it daily HGV Class C license

Ridden everything from schooling young 13hh ponies for riding schools to exercising 18hh schoolmasters Experience riding my own young horse and bringing him on since he was 4 Not really a jumper but Jumped courses up to 3ft/90cm and cross country fences up to 1m10 prelim dressage achieving 67%+ Hundreds of Hours of hacking
