In my early years of riding I went to Pony Club on a thoroughbred gelding (ex race horse) before moving onto a little Arab mare with lots of attitude. (English Style Riding) I later moved onto timed events and barrel racing where I competed at locals rodeos on Quarter horses for many years. (Western Style Riding)

I have attended many Gymkhana's, barrel racing events and horse sporting events throughout my horse riding years with success on many occasions.

I am a very confident rider with a good seat. I have a quick reaction time and deep seat which has proven handy when horses shy, especially at a canter/gallop. I have the ability to remain level headed and calm a nervous horse in stressful situations.
