Bio
Hardworking, reliable and physically active with lifelong horse experience. Currently an Assistant Manager in retail, previously a stable hand/groom on a 30+ horse dressage yard. Keen to return to the equestrian industry and put my passion to work.Duties of Current Occupation
Stable Hand/Groom on a busy 30+ horse riding school and livery yard. Experienced in all daily yard duties, including mucking out, feeding, turnout, exercising horses, schooling dressage horses, show grooming, and retraining ex-racehorses.
Equine Work Experience
I've been riding since the age of nine and have owned horses for most of my life, alongside working on busy livery and riding school yards. I currently loan a horse due to work commitments but am keen to return to the equestrian industry full-time and turn my lifelong passion back into my career.
Specialities
My previous equestrian employer specialised in retraining ex-racehorses for dressage, and I was actively involved in their rehabilitation, schooling and day-to-day care. More recently, I've been assisting with the retraining of ex-racehorses at a local livery yard, using a track system and natural horsemanship approach to support their transition into new careers.
