I have merits in level 3 and level 3 extended diploma in horse management.

I began being around horses aged 5. I learnt to ride in a riding school from 5-10. I had my own horse for a few years and went to college to study horse management. Whilst at college, I had a part time job on a yard as a groom, mucking out and completing general yard tasks.

I achieved level 3 and 3 extended diploma in horse management and learnt how to clip, plait and present a horse. Once I finished college, I became head yard girl full time at the same yard.

I am a hardworking individual who works well alone as well as in a team. I am a very dedicated to my work and love all animals especially horses. I am very passionate about horses and enjoy being around them.

I am not a confident rider at all. I can hack out but I don’t ride and haven’t for a long time. This is something I would like to get back into but I’m not looking for a riding position.

I have never competed or worked as a groom at a show.
