All yard duties including mucking out all bedding types, handling, turnout to county level, foal watch, first aid and rehabilitation. Show groom and rider/handler. Experience in eventing (Novice), showjumping and racing yards.
Equine Work Experience
I have built my equine experience through practical, hands-on work across competition and breeding environments. From a non-horsey background, I learned to produce and improve horses others overlooked, developing strong skills in training, groundwork, rehabilitation and management.
I have worked with foals, mares, colts and stallions, including preparing youngstock for licensing, and have managed my own stud alongside livery and training services. I am confident handling fit young horses and maintaining high standards across all yard duties.
My background includes eventing (Novice), showjumping, showing and racing yards, as well as competing through The Pony Club on borrowed horses. I combine traditional standards with continued education in nutrition, breeding and current research, always prioritising soundness and long-term development.
