My husband and I are very flexible, reliable horse people who can work hard and independently. I´m a rider and riding coach for children, he can do all the work which needs to be done on a farm. We`re looking for a temporary Job with horses as due to Covid we had to change our plans as we can`t travel to Australia this year. We have fully working rights in the EU but are open to every country if we`re allowed to travel/work. We both are speaking German and English.
I have completed a stable management qualification when I was younger.
I have helped working on a yard before at the weekends when I was working, so I know how to tack up, groom, muck out, haynets, feed buckets, cleaning tack, turning out/bringing in etc.
I have had experience working with horses for many years before I didnt have the time when A levels came around so I haven not been involved for a few years now however the passion I still have for the sport is still there and I am very keen to get back into it ASAP. I have quite an in-depth understanding of riding, stable management etc. I also used to help with children's lessons so I have some experience with working and coaching children with basic skills.
I have ridden mostly school horses however of different abilities. I have worked with green horses to school-masters, so I do have some experience with horses in different stages of their career. I have all the basic riding skills and I am very confident with these including jumping (although might be a bit rusty due to not riding in a few years), have done a small amount of dressage also.
I haven't but is definitely something I would want to explore.
