Level 2 In Early Years child care Level 3 extended diploma in horse management

Daily yard duties such as mucking out, grooming, turning out, riding and general care of the college horses.

From the age of 10 to 13 I volunteered at a riding school that I rode at and once I was able to get a job they offered me one straight away and I worked at the riding school from the age of 13 to 16. I have a level 3 extended diploma in horse management and whilst completing my diploma I done 110 hours of work experience at Mount St John in Yorkshire where I worked very hands on with the stud section of the yard, and I am currently in my second year of completing my Equine Science degree at Myerscough college in Preston. Whilst I have been doing my studies I have been given a job on the university yard through the half terms and if they need me during the week.

My passion is ensuring that the welfare of the horses I work with is too an extremely high standard. I use my initiative when completing all jobs and will complete all jobs to the best of my ability whether that be a minor job or an intense job. I enjoy working with children and helping them widen their knowledge of horses and how to care for them.

I have ridden since I was 4 right up until my current age of 21 now, I can ride on the flat, jump and I have worked with young horses and got them to a ridden stage.
