Equine Work Experience
Horses have been my life since I was in single digits. Through my teens I represented my pony club in every discipline. Acquiring my A test. After completing A levels and my degree in equine sport science I pursued a career in coaching, breaking and schooling. I have been self employed running a successful livery yard for many years. I have coached, trained, judged and produced horses for ten years. I am able to provide extensive references. I have ridden to advanced medium BD nationally, and novice level British eventing. I have groomed for show jumpers on the world class programme and ridden for Byrd’s selectors and Grand Prix Dressage riders.
During my degree I covered equine biomechanics, gait analysis, diagnostics, therapeutic/rehabilitation, nutrition, anatomy and physiology etc. I believe I have a sound and well rounded knowledge of all the physical systems related with the equine. Not only am I knowledgeable and qualified.. I am a very sociable person. I’m confident and great with people. I have built up an extensive client base, with professional relationships spanning many years.
