Qualifications
I have no official training but am well suited for basic yard work based on my years of experience.
Duties of Current Occupation
I attend school during the week but am free during the afternoon and weekends.
Equine Work Experience
I have owned three horses in the past and was a competitive show jumper back home. I was responsible for taking care of my own horses for five years. I also have broken in my own horse from a lead horse to a show jumper, with the help of my coach, so I am capable of handling difficult and cheeky horses both in and out of the saddle.
Specialities
I am a very active person and can work on my feet all day. When I lived in the States I had a summer job schooling upwards of five horses everyday. This included tacking up, grooming and mucking out each of their stalls, so I am able to be working for long hours if needed. I can also work speedily because I have been around horses for much of my life and am very familiar with all the duties necessary to provide care for horses and clients.
Type of Ride Work
I was a competitive show jumper for four years in Australia and then competed in equitation for two years in America. I have a lot of experience with ponies, especially ones with attitude. I am not scared of problem horses and was usually called on by my trainers to school a pony if they were giving the kids issues. I also have had my own large horses and have had experience flatting all types horses from my stables back home.
Competition Details
I competed in showjumping every weekend in Australia for four years. Whilst in Australia I traveled all across the country and was placed nationally at a young age. After I moved to the States I rode everyday after school and competed every weekend in Equitation. I worked to school and take care of ponies at my stable and helped to set up courses for the shows on the weekend.
