Equine Work Experience

I have been working with horses since the age of 14. I have been riding since I was 6 years old. My first show jumping competition was when I was 8. Spending so much time at the stables, my instructor started paying me for giving lessons to pupils and beginners, and helping her with riding and grooming. In the meantime I was competing in up to 1,40 cm in national shows.

At the age of 18 I wanted to gain more international experience. I worked for an Olympic Bulgarian Rider Rossen Raytchev in Aach,Germany for a year as a Groom/Home Rider. That year massively changed my riding and my stable skills. I have had a lot of tutoring from my boss and learned a lot for riding and breaking young horses as well as schooling competition horses.

Afterward I found myself in a jumping stables near Rome. I started as a riding instructor and rider and ended up being the Stable Manager 4 years later. I have had the opportunity to change my work ethics, team work and values.

Type of Ride Work

English style. Show-jumping up to level 1,40cm. Flat work. Dressage.

Competition Details

In the past year I have worked as a rider in the Dressage Stables Dressur de Boer in Germany. I have had between 10-14 horses to school a day between the ages of 4 and 8. I had the opportunity to learn a lot more about Dressage, which also improved my jumping, especially with young horses.

I am now in Newcastle, UK and am working as a freelancer but would much rather have a permanent position as a rider or a riding instructor.
