Duties of Current Occupation
Yard Work (mucking out, making feed, administer medications), Groom ( Help lesson students prepare their horses for classes, bathe horses and prepare them for students) , Camp Counsellor (Teach riding basics, lead students around the ring, etc)
Equine Work Experience
I have ridden for 14 years since I was a child and worked for a lesson barn in the US for 5 years. I have worked with children and beginner riders a lot and have been responsible for taking care of as many as 12 horses in one shift alone. I have experience in yard work and grooming as well as teaching young students and disabled students the basics of riding.
Specialities
I haven't gotten to work with any foals or stallions yet.
Type of Ride Work
I have leased a few ponies for myself and mostly ridden lesson horses at the barn I worked for. I've ridden some ex-race horses and some competing jumping ponies. I have done flatwork, jumping and some basic dressage.
