I currently own and compete my own horse in various unaffiliated classes in the local area, having recently competed in The Sunshine Tour at Hickstead after qualifying with a first and a second. My own horse is an older horse, so I have a range of experience in working with senior horses and ensuring he stays healthy and isn't strained too much with work. As I do the majority of my horse's care, I have experience mucking out both shavings and wood pellets, making feeds, grooming, lunging and other yard duties. In addition to this, I often help out with my cousins job over in Ireland which works with disabled children on therapy rides.
