I have previous experience helping out equine yards and farms, where I developed a strong understanding of horse care, stable management, and general duties, like mucking out, feeding, exercising horses, and maintaining the yard to a high standard.

I've been riding horses since I was four years old, developing a deep passion for horses that has shaped my skills and experience over the years. Growing up around horses, I quickly became a confident rider, learning the fundamentals of riding, horse care, and stable management from an early age. As I progressed, I became involved in eventing, competing at lower levels where I gained experience in dressage, show jumping, and cross-country. Through these competitions, I developed a strong understanding of the discipline, precision, and adaptability required to succeed in a demanding sport. My experience in eventing taught me how to train and condition horses for performance, as well as how to manage their fitness, diet, and overall wellbeing. Beyond eventing, I have also gained valuable experience working in the trot racing industry in France. This role provided me with insight into the unique demands of training and managing trot racers, from daily exercise routines to race preparation

I have previous experience helping on stud farms in France where I was responsible for the daily care and management of broodmares, foals, and youngstock, ensuring their health, wellbeing, and development. My role involved handling foals from birth, assisting with early training, feeding, mucking out, grooming, and monitoring their progress. I gained valuable hands on experience in foaling procedures, recognising signs of illness or distress. This experience deepened my knowledge on the industry

I have extensive experience riding a variety of horses, including eventers, ex-racehorses, trot racehorses, and polo ponies, each requiring a unique approach to training and management. My time working with eventing horses has given me valuable experience in flatwork, jumping, and cross-country, focusing on improving their fitness, balance, and responsiveness. Riding ex-racehorses has taught me how to retrain and adapt their skills for new disciplines, developing their suppleness and confidence.

I began event riding at the age of 12, developing my skills in dressage, show jumping, and cross-country when competing at a lower level. Through these competitions, I gained valuable experience in training and preparing horses for events, focusing on improving their fitness, rideability, and confidence across disciplines. Alongside my own riding, I have assisted as a groom at competition yards, assisting with the daily care and management of event horses.
