Qualifications
Sat my D plus test when I was at pony club, however never continued these but would be able to take on qualifications if requested
Duties of Current Occupation
Had my own horses completing these tasks
- Daily muck out, hay, feeding, general care etc
- First aid when horses have come in from the field with minor injuries
- Preparing my own horses for shows
- Schooling
- Clipping
Equine Work Experience
Experience on a variety of horses, mostly flat work, hacking and showjumping. I have done cross country and dressage however never competed in these, I focused on showjumping. I also have practiced natural horsemanship when breaking in my pony
Specialities
Worked with semi feral ponies who faced many challenges and required a lot of patience to overcome these and become handleable as well as now ridden.
Type of Ride Work
Ridden a variety of horses with their own unique quirks and typically fiery horses, although also ridden steadier horses too. These have all competed on the showjumping circuit at a height up to 1.10m. When I was younger I also competed in mounted games which required many different skills. Work my horses on flatwork and hacking as a basis and have taken dressage lessons to benefit this.
