I have completed two apprenticeships (Level 3 coaching + riding) (Level 2 horse care) which is equivalent to a Bhs stage 2 coach and ride.

Duties of Current Occupation

I ride all day taking customers around Richmond park from advanced to beginners. If I am free or on the yard I would do any of the following: Hay/Feeding/watering Ride for exercise Sweep/de-cobweb Mucking out/Skipping out Cleaning wounds

Equine Work Experience

I have ridden horses on and off since I was 2, friends warmblood horses, Irish sport horses, thoroughbreds and riding school. I have worked with heavy horses and driving also. I currently work at a busy riding school in London and have completed two apprenticeships in four years (coaching +riding level 3) (horse care level 2).

Specialities

I am a good team worker and I am moderately fast on the yard and polite and professional to customers I am always on time for rides unless a rider falls. I take out the group hacks everyday only for advanced riders, I demonstrate exercises on the hacks such as shoulder in, leg yield, light seat for 2 strides of canter then sitting for 2 strides of canter ect.

Type of Ride Work

The riding school I currently work at has a variety of horses from senior experienced riding school horses, to green 4 year olds and competition livery horses. I can ride novice dressage and jump 1 metre course. I can maintain a light seat.

Competition Details

I have been to a couple of intro and novice dressage tests and ridden a few clear rounds and 1 metre courses.
