• Riding since I was 4.

• Spent the last year working with horses in the equine tourism industry.

• Spent 6 months volunteering with Vauxhall City Farm riding school where I assisted with the RDA scheme and did general yard chores like mucking out, grooming, tacking up for lessons, feeding.

• Spent 3 months at Horizon Horseback in South Africa who have over 100 horses on 24/7 turnout. I rode as a backup guide every day and helped with the daily yard routine which involved feeding, haying, grooming, schooling,, basic medical care, and preparing up to 25 horses twice a day for the guest rides.

• Spent 3 months working as a groom at a yard in New Zealand which ran horse trekking holidays. I was a back-up guide on their treks and also a groom at home. While the owners were away on trips I was solely responsible for the yard and the 30 horses on 24/7 turnout.

• Spent 3 months as a lead horseback guide in Iceland. This included taking out guest rides, grooming, general care.

• Worked on international yards in the equestrian tourism industry
• Worked on very busy yards with 100+ horses
• Experience as a lead guide in the equestrian tourism industry

• I grew up doing lots of flatwork lessons but in the last 8 years or so I've mainly been hacking.
• I've ridden gaited Icelandic horses since I was 12 and often ride a friend's Icelandic horse.
