General yard duties, working with a range of horses from thoroughbreds to seasoned competitor to happy hacker, providing high standards of care to the livery horses, excerising the horses, admistering medications when required and working long hours.

I have hands-on experience and training within working on a commercial thoroughbred stud environment at the National Stud. I am confident in my abilities to contribute effectively to the day to day running of a yard and work to achieve high standards of care to all horses. I am confident handling young thoroughbreds, maintaining excellent stable standards and supporting busy periods such as foaling and yearling prep. Experience with horses in a range of settings from small to big yards (teaching, educational, events) over 10 years. 10+ years of experience working on equine yards in a volunteer and work experience capacity.
