Duties of Current Occupation

Groom for 4* eventing rider – exercising, mucking out, grooming. Coaching and managing individuals and teams, beginners to eventing 3* level Working horses and riders: lunging, ride and lead, exercise, grooming, tacking up, instruction, treks

Equine Work Experience

• Riding since age 7 at Kowhai Residential School of Riding, which has a strong focus on horsemanship and practical skills. • Competitive eventer and showjumper, excelling in riding and training young and difficult horses: o Evented to 3* o Show jumped to 1.25m o Dressage to Level 3 • Passionate about coaching – known for positive, constructive, and empathetic instruction. • Skilled at keeping riders relaxed and performing their best under competition pressure. • Some farrier experience – taking shoes off, rasping, tightening clenches and some nailing under supervision.

• Key Achievements: o NZPCA Young Achiever Award 2017 o Represented NZ at Inter Pacific Show Jumping (Canada, 2015). o 1st place (individual) NZPCA Horse Trials Nationals (2015), 6th (2016), multiple team wins and placings. o Captain, Canterbury Area Eventing team (2013–2017). o Selected for NZ Inter Pacific Show Jumping Team trials (2013, 2015).
