Equine Work Experience
I've ridden since 6 years old and am now 52. I had a 20 year gap (while bringing up my 2 children on my own) where I only rode occasionally. I have worked as a Groom/ Yardworker/ Instructor ( primarily children) and Rider in my local area since 2016 . I spent all my free time in stables in Sweden from a young age and had my own horse ( young showjumper) . I'm very hardworking and conscientious ,with a good eye for detail and a confident all round rider . I also have a BSc (Hon) in Nutrition. I have many references from horse owners and yards that I've worked at. Presently at Ham House Stables and Operation Centaur but looking for opportunities to progress in my riding and gain new skills and experience.
Specialities
I am always looking for new knowledge, spend alot of time trying to educated myself and spend alot of time listening and reading on veterinary/ biomechanics/ nutrition/equitation/ physiotherapy ( you name it;) topics and hope to find likeminded colleagues. I'm equally happy ( if not happier) working on my own and am a bit of a perfectionist
