Duties of Current Occupation
Previously, I worked as a volunteer at the Diamond Centre for disabled riders. This role included assisting disabled riders in equine-led therapy, whilst working in a team of volunteers to complete all yard duties to a high level.
Equine Work Experience
I currently have 2 share horses, one being a stronger warmblood type and another being a schoolmaster type. Here, I do all yard duties including mucking out, riding, turn in/out, grooming and tacking up. Furthermore, I owned 3 horses between the ages of 10 and 14 and kept them on full livery, whilst working as a volunteer at the Diamond Centre.
Type of Ride Work
Competed up to medium-level dressage and mainly focused on dressage, although happy to pop a small course of jumps. I have ridden a variety of horses with a variety of vices and happy to deal with most of these. Lastly, I am completely comfortable with exercising many horses per day.
