Duties of Current Occupation
tutoring in English langauge and literature volunteer - at a disabled riding centre for 3 years
Equine Work Experience
I am currently volunteering at a disabled riding centre and have done for 3 years now as a groom and rider. I also have a horse share for one day a week.
Specialities
my general yardwork (grooming, cleaning, mucking out, feeding, bringing in, turning out) is at a verry high standard i have worked with 6 year olds+ i have handeled and ridden a range of different horses and ponies ranging from school masters(ex-showjumpers) to 5 year old cob mares in schooling and hacking. i am very self-sufficient in taking care of a horse to a high standard no matter the temprement.
Type of Ride Work
I am confident in riding all types of horses as i have had experience with young and green horses, spooky horses and very exitable horses and ponies (who like to buck and rear) i hack out a lot and school in flatwork, i have done some jumping (up to 1m ) i have never fully broken in a horse but i partly with my friend who owned the horse and asked me to help.
