I have a BHS stage 1 in complete horsemanship. A level 3 advanced technical diploma in equine management. A foundation of science degree in equine training and rehabilitation. I completed training for both BHS stage 2 and 3 in complete horsemanship however I am still yet to do the exams.

I can ride to a high standard both on the flat and over fences. I can muck out, maintain yard cleanliness, maintain fencing and present horses for competition.

I have been around horses for 16 years, during this time I have ridden and competed my own horses and others. I began working on my first livery yard at 12 years old where I was responsible for around 15-20 beds a day. I moved to reaseheath college to continue my equine education where I continued to work alongside my course as a practicing equine behaviouralist, working with problematic horses. I began my equine degree at University centre Reaseheath where I worked as an equine events assistant and yard staff for 2 years. During seasonal periods of June to September 2021 and may to September 2022 I worked at Freerein riding holidays as a guide leading groups of up to 8 guests and horses across the Brecon Beacons.

I can present competition horses to a high standard, clipping, plaiting, bathing and pulling manes. I turn out stables efficiently providing clean and tidy stables. I can handle a variety of horses and ponies, from stallions and mares with foals to competition ponies.

I competed as a show rider, both flat and working hunter for 15 years. For the past 5 years I have also competed in show jumping, eventing and dressage.
