Ive recently completed the BHS silver award (equivalent to stage1) as a fast track entry to the stage 2 which I plan on undergoing training for in the near future

Duties of Current Occupation
Mucking out, turnout/bring in, tack up, groom, greet customers and allocating ponies, holding for farrier/vet, taking cash/card payments, riding/lunging horses, worming horses
Equine Work Experience
I’ve owned horses on and off since being a child but on a professional level I’m currently working at a riding school/livery yard- East Boldon Riding Centre. Ive worked there for almost a year and a half now
Specialities
Have worked with a number of unhandled horses one of which being my own so am used to handling difficult/green horses.
Type of Ride Work
In my current role we ride potential riding school ponies that are bought in and Coke to us on trial. I also ride my own rising four year old who has been backed for two weeks now
