Equine Work Experience
I have worked in a inner city riding school and young people’s project in Newcastle for around 8 years. I am able to teach, school horses, pull manes and tails, and also able to do a little bit of clipping.
I have ridden a range of horses from riding school through to competition horses as well as schooling liveries. I have also dealt with vets physios farriers and dentists as well.
Specialities
I have worked in a busy inner city riding school for the past 8 years. I have had to be used to working at a fast speed and has to be responsible for ensuring that the yard is turned out to a high standard. I also have had to be responsible for my own time keeping and ensuring that lessons are starting and finishing on time.
I have had experience with a ride range of horses from riding school, to competition horses.
Type of Ride Work
I am mainly experienced in flat work and would confidently say that I am able to train horses up to elementary level dressage.I am also happy to jump and continue to work on this area as well. This includes being able to re-school them. My proudest achievement would be re training my own mare from into level dressage now up to elementary/ medium level. I would love to continue to work on all areas of riding.
