Duties of Current Occupation
I am responsible for looking after a range of animals on a small hold sanctuary. I currently care for horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, owls and hens. Duties include preparing feeds, basic health checks, grooming, exercising the horses and mucking out
Equine Work Experience
Over 15 years experience with horses. I have worked as a stable hand at a riding school where I looked after approx 20 horses. I also currently work on a small hold sanctuary with horses, carrying out general yard duties and exercising.
Specialities
Animal care, yard duties eg. Mucking out, feeds, turning in/out, grooming. 15 years riding experience. I have also cared for animals other than horses including livestock, reptiles, birds and aquatic mammals.
