Sole charge, mucking out, turning out and bringing in, Equine first aid, wash down, clipping, holding for Farrier and Vets, Equine welfare, behaviour training, education around Equines.
Trained in the Vaquero Traditions and planning on further training next year with Buck Brannaman.
The usual, mucking out, feeding, haying, turning out, bringing in, health checks, tacking up, evening/night checks, equine first aid, bandaging, medication administration, caring for Equines with complex or specific medical needs.
Exercising horses from the ground and horse back. Ground: Long-reigning (with and without saddle), walking work (poles/hills), round pen, lunging, confidence building, behavioural training.
Horse-back: Hacking, walk, trot, canter. Bare back riding. Obstacle work. Trail riding.
Ground-work training (Equine and Human). Trailer loading, gateways, confidence building, starting, backing, mounting block and liberty.
I have worked with Event Horses, Race Horses, Equines with a troubled or traumatized background and therapy horses.
I specialise in application of Equine Behaviour and Psychology in a working and leisure environment. Trained in the Californian Vaquero Traditions. I work with a horses nature, utilising my understanding of a horses mind set and how they communicate. I train and work with horses to accept a human and confidently and responsibly work with them and not through submission and manipulation.
Mostly Western and this is my preferred style of riding, also Traditional English experience.
Simply pole and obstacle work for exercise. Hacking out on clients personal horses for exercise purposes. Starting and backing. Confidence building.
